WHY DID YOU START WRESTLING-I got bored of all the other sports I did. A friend of mine was on the boys' team at my school so I went to a few of his meets, thought wrestling looked interesting, and joined the team the next year.
WHAT HAS THE SPORT OF WRESTLING DONE FOR YOU.-More than I can write in a few sentences.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOU BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT TO DATE?-2nd at the 1999
WHAT IS YOUR INSPIRATION FOR WRESTLING?- I train with the men's team at Harvard and there is so much talent in our wrestling room. Watching these guys wrestle inspires me to try to rise to their level.
DO YOU HAVE A HERO AND WHY?-My heroes are my coaches and my teammates. While they are not perfect all the time, it is their imperfections which makes the moments that they perform their best so extraordinary.
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SAY TO THE YOUNGER GIRLS COMING UP?-Stick with it! It's a great sport.
WHAT SHOULD BE DONE TO IMPROVE THE SPORT OF WOMENS WRESTLING?-More tournaments in all areas of the country are needed. There are very few women's tournaments on the east coast and not all girls have the funding to travel across the country.
WHO IS YOUR COACH?- Jay Weiss, Granit Taropin, Dustin Denunzio, Kendall Cross, Andy McNerney, and Marcus Mollica. We have a lot of great coaches in our wrestling room!
WHAT CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL DO YOU WRESTLE FOR?-Dave Schultz Wrestling Club
